Khadim Hussain Soomro S/O (late) Ghulam Hussain Soomro born on 27th February 1979, 29 Rabi-al-Awwal 1399, Tuesday at Soomra House Soomra Muhallah Block 01 Johi Town District Dadu Sindh Pakistan in respected Soomro Family of the town. He spent his childhood and youth at his native town. He has very inclination towards literature therefore at the age of 8 he started to read stories. At The teen age he fond of “Gul Phul” Sindhi children magazine monthly published by Sindhi Adbi Board Govt of Sindh, which carry Sindhi children poetry, stories, and quiz. When he attained youth, he started loving literature and felt love for novels, stories, poetry and history. He, at the age of 14 in Govt High School Johi where he did also his matriculation, he got close to his teacher Mr. Aziz Kingrani who well known in literary world for his poetry, TV drama, Stories and Archeological work. He learned poetry and its grammar from Aziz Kingrani and adopted literary name “Makhdoom Sahil Soomro which he continued for few years. He started write Poetry and his poetry published in various literary Sindhi magazines like, Ibrat magzines, He started to attend literacy events and student politics, he joined “Sathi Barara Sangat” student wing of Communist Party of Pakistan where he participated various literary activities. He completed his matriculation in 1994 and joined Govt Degree College where he also affiliated with “Sujag Bar Tehreek” student wing of “Awami Tehreek Pakistan” National movement. With this he also joined “Sindhi Adbi Sangat” Asia’s biggest literary Organization. He elevated at post of Literary Auditor at “Sindhi Adbi Sangat at Johi Branch. He completed his college education and did Inter science in 1996 and then got admission in Sociology department in University of Sindh at Jamshoro Sindh Pakistan. He completely involved in literary gatherings and continue writing poetry. During University days he started reading International literature and history. He read Russian, chines, American, Britain, Indian subcontinent, French, Persian and Arabi literature and history. He is got interest in history British raaj in India and Islamic history, French revolution, and Russian Bolshevik era. His favorite Poets are Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, Shaikh Ayaz, Ustad Bukhari, Aziz Kingrani, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Habib Jalib, Ahmed Faraz Mehmud Darvesh, Gulzar, Coleridge, John Keats, T.S Eliot and Walt Whitman, for Novels and stories his favorite literary figures are Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Aldous Huxley, Chekhov, Leo Tolstoy, Boris Pasternak, Gorky, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Johan Steinbeck, Yang Mo, Saadat Hassan Manto, Krishan Chander, Agha Saleem.

After completion of Masters in Sociology in 2000, Khadim Hussain Soomro joined development sector and worked throughout Pakistan on various Projects including human rights.

For his love to literature, he uses to write on literary field like poetry, social issues of society, Political issues, Human rights, History in various daily Sindhi and English newspapers and magazines. He is also members of various literary societies and participating and contributing actively. He is now living in Karachi capital of Sindh with his family. He loves nature and respects all humans.
